The album will also benefit the new distribution deal with [Caroline Distribution] which Crash Music signed April 2004.

Finnish release date through [Low Frequency Records] is not sure yet but it's been said that it would follow Crash Music's dates...

Former Twilight Ophera vocalist Sauli Lehtisaari passed away 12th February 2004. The band and friends would like to commiserate Sauli's two young daughters, wife and relatives.

Everything came as a sudden strike for everyone, Sauli was just dignosed to have a stomach tumor (which was extremely aggressive). The cancer was unstoppable... We will never forget you FRIEND!!! R.I.P

New album "The End Of Halcyon Age" will be distributed by Sony Music in Finland

The deal hasn't inked yet though, but it will happen very near future. Due to this the worldwide release date has been moved to early 2004. There has been discussions about T-shirts also but we'll leave that for the new record label to inform about. The End Of Halcyon Age has been released in Baltic countries by CD-Maximum. There are already some reviews available on the net and we'll add them to website soon as we have enough time to properly translate them to English.

Andy from Irond Records ltd (Russia) contacted us and informed that they already have licensing rights for our 2 earlier albums and they have already released Shadows Embrace The Dark in Baltic countries. This means that it would had been impossible to CD-Maximum to license these albums. We were not aware of that deal, because Cacophonous didn't inform us for anything when we were signed with them. We hope to get new lay-out for website in a month or so. New promotional material including photos etc. and updated biography will be add that time also.

Release of The End Of Halcyon Age delayed due the new contract negotiations for international release. Although CD-Maximum will release The End Of Halcyon Age in baltic countries on early September.

New preview sample available on samples section in Mp3 / Real Audio format... Also "Pseudogods" video which will be featured on retail "The End of Halcyon Age" album is now being shot. Half of it has already been shot and the rest will be shot during next week. Due to the video will be on the CD this might affect to planned release date May 2003.

Photo sessions also took place and new promotional photos with whole line-up included will be added soon.

Twilight Ophera's new album will be licensed to Baltic countries also. CD-Maximum will release "The End of Halcyon Age" on every territory of Russia + Baltic States. 1st press will be 1000 disks minimum... They were also interested of releasing two earlier Twilight Ophera albums as well but due to arrogant pricing policy of Cacophonous Records this option will be avoided.

On 11th July 2003 Twilight Ophera plays at Tuska Metal Festival Club at Stella Star with Chaosbreed, Rytmihäiriö and Pain Confessor.

"THE END OF HALCYON AGE" TO BE RELEASED IN MAY 2003

The new album has been fully recorded and mixed. Mastering session will take place in next four weeks. The new album concists of nine tracks which three tracks have been released on latest promo. The newest masterpiece has whole more variability than two earlier releases. "The End of Halcyon Age" stirrs many musical directions of metal from thrash to black via death metal of its brutaliest.

Twilight Ophera has almost finished recordings for the new album and the mixing session will start at 27th January 2003 in Sonic Pump Studios as planned. Band has recruited Lord Heikkinen (Soulgrind) to play bass lines for the album. Tracklisting will be available very soon.

In past 2 months Twilight Ophera has recorded all drums for the next album and finalized arrangements of the songs. Therefore all the instruments are almost ready for the recording.As the mixing session will start late January 2003, (Due there just weren't any available time at the desired studio to do it earlier) Twilight Ophera has had great opportunity to finalize everything without hurry. Hopefully everything from now on will go as planned and the album will see the daylight at 1st quarter of 2003.
